Lake Howell High School student Dylan Charles had a vision: to revive the “Hot Scots,” a short-lived but legendary drumline from the ‘90s. Together with his equally talented friends—Nigel Fernandez, Matt, Elias, and Jordan—he transformed that vision into an electrifying, stick-flipping, beat-blasting spectacle that would go down in internet history.“We just played some of our favorite drum corps excerpts and filled in the rest,” Dylan modestly told Drumlines of America (DOA).
